I began my career in the public relations and communications business, working first in New York, and then for the San Francisco Symphony, where I helped introduce Michael Tilson Thomas to the Bay Area. I spent the next fifteen years raising two daughters in Palo Alto, where I also began my real estate career. The highly competitive Silicon Valley market was an invaluable real estate training ground, giving me hands-on negotiating experience in many high-end sales. ​
